This is an update of the negotiations and the latest offer of the employer as presented today, Wednesday, 04th July 2012.

  1. The Employer moved by a 0,2 % from their previous offer of 6,7% to 6.9% .
  2. Revised their multi – term by moving by 0,3 from 0,7 to 1% above CPI for 2013/2014 and by 0,5 from 0,5% to 1% above CPI for 2014/2015.
  3. R900 for Housing allowance.

Labour is currently at :

  1. 7,7%  salary adjustment
  2. R1400 housing allowance
  3. Multi term with 1,5 % above CPI for 2013/2014 and 2014/2015.
  4. Work on a safety clause in the resolution for the two outer years to request for re opening negotiations in case the CPI is too low.
